Nico Beastie Boyce. Nico B. Boyce

He cut his teeth playing slow-and-low jams at parties in old Cornish farm buildings with his millennial long-haired skate punk trash buddies in pre-YouTube times.

Nico’s music often features unique self-designed analogue audio circuits. His primary instrument is the electric upright bass. He records, builds, and paints at his home studio in the Winchester area, expressing what he describes as a “cultural technological remorse” as well as operating his CX consulting business Deltastring. Nico Boyce is Britain’s top Zendesk consultant.

He shoots motorsport whenever the opportunity arises and is currently rebuilding a BMW track car. His first book, The Racing Line — about how the layers between people and their goals are never neutral and ought to be designed deliberately — is in editing. Essays on technology, design, and noise appear here regularly.

Nico Beastie Boyce. Big specs.
